Springtime in Houston also brings the Rodeo! Well, we've never actually stayed for the Rodeo, we just go for the Children's section of the Livestock Show. They have so many animals and other exhibits the kids get to touch and interact with. It's so much fun!
Joseph is definitely a knight in training!
Annie is always a little ray of sunshine.
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and we went with them and Aunt Lisa to the Butterfly House downtown. It is so beautiful, we love it!
In addition to butterflies, they have other bugs including this giant walking stick that we got to hold
.
and a giant praying mantis.
As is tradition, we had a huge Easter celebration at my mom's cousin, Charlotte's, house.
One day, I discovered Joseph in the dryer.
Ada finished her first year of music class and had her first recital. She has loved spending time with her friends, learning music,
and her teacher, Ms. Kellee, is so nice!
Here we are riding the train at Hermann Park
and with our friends, the Litherlands, at Mercer Arboretum.
More friends at another park.
(I bet you're not wondering how we choose to spend our free time, right?)
Ms. AnneMarie turned one in May.
We love this girl!
And of course, we have to include a messy-face picture.
(Do all 8-9 year olds have an obsession with putting bunny ears on people?)
